Cellulite
in medical parlance pannicolopatia fibro - edematous , indicates an altered subcutaneous tissue that is rich in fat cells. It is located under the skin and is characterized by hypertrophy of fat cells , fluid retention and stasis of fluid in the intercellular spaces . The balance of venous and lymphatic system ( lymph is a fluid that collects the waste material flows in channels of the body and blood) is modified by a slowing of blood flow and fluid retention by the tissues .
Cellulite can be divided into three stages of growth:
Edematous : Create an accumulation of fluid and swelling that is present in adipose tissue, especially around the ankles, calves , thighs and arms.
Fiber : Form a fibrous connective tissue that increases the fat hardens . It is characterized by small nodules and orange peel skin .
Sclerotic : Form sclerosis so that the tissue becomes hard and created large nodules . The surface is cold and sore.
Types of Cellulite
There are different types of cellulite :
Cellulite Compact
Primarily affects individuals in good physical shape with a little muscle tone mobile: the area most affected is often painful and appear on the skin of stretch marks , is localized on the knees , thighs and buttocks.
Cellulite flaccid
Affects middle-aged people who have hypotonic or tissue in subjects ranging in weight. Cellulite is made of soft furniture infiltrated sclerotic nodules ; localizes inside of the thighs and arms. Cellulite edematous
It is characterized by the presence of a water component : liquid stagnation of the buttocks and hips give the tissue looks swollen and spongy .
Causes of cellulite
There are many causes that give rise to cellulitis depends on various factors that often are added together. Cellulite is caused by an alteration of the microcirculation . Some factors are not caused by us and therefore can not be eliminated and those they defined as primary ( eg . sex , race or familiarity ) . Other factors which are related to the performance of our lives and then they referred to as secondary , are linked to specific diseases or taking drugs , others that certainly could be controlled by adopting a different lifestyle , then there are aggravating factors due to Our lifestyle ( eg . poor diet or sedentary lifestyle ) .
Primary factors
L ' being a woman and the white race is very unfavorable , because the woman prevails action of female hormones , namely estrogen, on specific receptors and the shape of women " pear shaped " means that you have an accumulation of excess weight in the area from the hips to the knee water retention and circulatory distress . Another very important cause to which we can not do anything about is the family component , and inheritance. The secondary factors are caused by two things :

Aggravating factors There are many aggravating factors of cellulite :
Sedentary lifestyle or lose weight too fast muscle tissue and then gives the visual situation worsens cellulite. To have less cellulite problems need to be constantly in motion, because motion helps maintain efficient muscles , circulation and metabolism helping to burn fat and prevent circulatory stasis . Because poor diet , that is too full of calories and foods high in fat and salt to form a localized fat accumulation , fluid retention . Bad posture and legs crossed, aggravates the bloodstream and then compresses the vessels because cellulite . Too long standing property causes poor circulation , because blood is hard to climb from the lower limbs , leading to circulatory stasis . The dress is too tight due to poor circulation because it compresses the blood vessels. High-heeled shoes too tight or too high, impeding the venous and lymphatic return and prevent the proper functioning of the very important " venous pump " .
